CPSR organizes conferences/seminars/ workshops on contemporary themes and public policy issues with a view to bring together practicing administrators and academia to evolve policy inputs for good governance.



CPSR provides consultancy services to public administrations and agencies on areas including: structures of Government, institutional building, human rights, citizen participation, accountability, public sector management, policy design and delivery

Dr. James Kiprop Chelang’a

Chairman and Director
Holds a PhD, Environmental Studies (Human Ecology), (Moi University),MSc, Human Resource Management, (University of Manchester, UK). Bachelor of Arts, Public Administration, Sociology & Economics, University of Rajasthan, India). Diploma, Social and Political Science, Claver House Social Institute, UK. Dr. James Chelang’a works in Moi University as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science and Public Administration (School of Arts and Social Sciences) where he is the Chairman/ Direcor of the Centre of Public Sector Reforms and the Lead Researcher in the Keiyo – Tugen (KETU) Peace Project- Learning from peace in Africa, a project funded by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP).

Mr.Wesley Chirchir

Holds a MA degree in Public Administration from the University of Birmingham and a Post Graduate Diploma in Development Administration from same university. He has 18 years progressive working experience related to consultancy work that cuts across training, research, resource mobilisation and a wide range of advisory services and mentoring

Milka cherotich

Project Officer -Finance
Holds of Business degree from Moi University and CPA IV with over 4 year’s relevant work experience in administration and finance. She has experience working on donor funded projects, with a recent grant being from European Union.

Mr Felix Kulei

Program Officer
Holds a B.A Degree in Sociology and a National Diploma in Social Work and Community Development with a 5 years distinct experience in project implementation and Management having worked with various Civil Society organization including KESOFO, Youth Horizons.

Mr.Emmanuel Ntoika

Programme Assistant
Holds a Diploma in Business Administration with 5 years’ experience working as Team Leader in Youth Horizons and a Program Officer, Wareng Institute
